Use Seekyt to write articles, get backlinks and increase Google Adsense revenue
Everyone who owns a website, blog or writes articles is constantly looking for ways to get more traffic. Some of you who are in Adsense bussines are looking for ways to increase your Google Adsense earnings as well.
One way to do it is to create as many backlinks as you can. And, if you can get a backlink from one of those revenue sharing sites, even better!
Recently I came across this social bookmarking and revenue sharing site called Seekyt.com. The site is quite new, but its potential is growing and well as its traffic.

Seekyt.com is created by a HubPages hubber howtoguru. There are constant changes to the website with intention to be improved and get more income to its users. At first glance the site is easy to navigate, doesn’t have too many unnecessary options, links and commercials bombarding you all over the place. Submitting content is simple and takes just a few minutes.

Registration process on Seekyt
First thing you need to do is register to Seekyt.com. Registration is free and simple. All you need to do is enter you username, email and password and that’s it. Your account is created and you can start submitting content and earning money.
Later, you can add some personal information, such as name, where you are coming from and those sorts of things.The cool thing is that avatar is displayed randomly, which means that every time you log in, you have a different avater. That way you don't have to choose one or worry about your photo. If you still want a unique one, you can upload it as well.
You can enter your favorite website, so the link will be displayed every time someone looks at your profile. This gives you even more chance to increase traffic to your website or article pages.
Adsense data are configured on the profile page, where you need to enter your Adsense code and be able to increase your Adsense revenue.
Publish content, get to the from page and earn more money
You can submit all kinds of content, depending on your interests and knowledge.
There are 10 categories:
- Articles
- News
- Sites
- Games
- Blogs
- Videos
- Products
- Sports
- Health
- Media.
This is social bookmarking site, but besides bookmarks you can submit your photos or videos. Or, you can write a completely new and unique article. That way your article will be found quicker by search engines and you will get more traffic sooner than you would get if you only bookmark you existing content.
You only have to follow the rules by Seekyt and Google Adsense, meaning no spam and no clicking on your own ads.
How to increase Google Adsense earnings
Right now, on every member’s individual submission page Google Adsense is placed. Each member gets 65% of those Google Adsense views.
There is also a refferal program, so you can earn extra money if you reffer new members to Seekyt.com website.
You can participate in contests, write more articles and be more visible. All that will bring you more money.
So, it’s worth to give it a try, just don’t forget to enter your Adsense ID.

Seekyt.com is a new website and understandingly has a page rank 0. But, if you take a look at well known revenue sharing sites, such as Shetoldme, Snipsly and Xomba, they also started the same way, but grew up into respectable websites with steady traffic every day, which is constantly growing.

This is actually quite new site. I think the owner established it in the middle of June. A lot of hubbers are using it already. It's a backlink more for your hubs and an another opportunity to increase your earnings from Adsense.

hubpageswriter, Seekyt is very similar to Snipsly, easy to navigate and submitting your content takes really a minute or two. And, it can get you some more traffic to your hubs, as well as some additional money.

sanathara, unfortunately I didn't have time to make some changes in this hub. But, the owner has changed a few rules (he does it all the time, so it's hard to keep the track sometimes and be up to date all the time :o))).
Seekyt is now only article web site and submitting your own content is not possible any more.
Sounds good as I have never had anything from Google adsense, this is because I have never worked out how to do my adsense code. It would be nice to get it going.

Well written article, but unfortunately outdated.
Seekyt has changed a lot since the time you've written this article. It is no longer a social bookmarking site and now it has a page rank of 3 (pretty good for a one-year old baby :)) Seekyt has turned into an online article submitting site (only), and since then attracted many new members.
Articles aren't didvided into categories directly on the site, but search engines automatically categorize webpages based on tags.
Also, the money making policy has changed. You can earn with AdSense and with Amazon; ads are served with your AdSense and/or Amazon ID 70% of time, and there is a referral program (you earn 25%). I'm earning cents over there (for now), but cents are money too, right?
I love Seekyt and would recommend everybody to check it out :)
vox vocis, I agree with you, many information here are outdated. I wrote this article a long time ago and since then many things have changed.
It is no longer social bookmarking site, that's true.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to do my onlne work lately as much as I would like to, so I just didn't have time to make those changes.

You're welcome, Emma :) There are other updates on the site; maybe you'd like to check them out. The design of the site changed and it looks awesome. The new look is more professional, classy and more user friendly. Latest comments, journals and the list of the most active members are moved to the bottom of the page (they used to be in the right sidebar). Seekyt has grown bigger and it was high time for another 30 Days Challenge which is announced for the period between Feb 15 and Mar 15, 2012. One more important thing - external links are now nofollow links - you still get the traffic, but the SEO value of those links is decreased, which means that the SEO value of Seekyt webpages will increase.
